respected corporate leaders. Known for his creative vision and versatility, W.P. has traveled the world, organizing breathtaking events: from intimate receptions to spectacular galas and lavish weddings.
Since 1999, his entertainment production company, “W. P. Miller Special Events” has been a sought-after “one-stop shop,” handling all aspects of event planning …everything from custom invitation design to overall visual conceptualization and production management. They even oversee security! W.P. Miller’s trend-setting designs and spectacular events have appeared in such national publications as People, Life & Style, Ebony, Jet, Brides Magazine, In Style Magazine and many others. He has also appeared on the television shows Entertainment Tonight, Whose Wedding is it Anyway?, Married Away, and the French network program 100% Mag.
A native of Chicago, W.P. is based in Los Angeles but his work is global in scope. He is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a degree in
Marketing and International Business. Known as the “go-to guy” for event planning among the nation’s elite, W.P. has planned social events for such
luminaries as first lady Michelle Obama and senior presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett, in addition to Senators Kristen Gillibrand, Tim Kaine, and Harry Reid and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa.
In addition to his corporate clients, he has earned the trust of Hollywood’s Who’s Who, including Academy Award-winning actors Sidney Poitier, Lou Gossett Jr. and Mira Sorvino. W.P. has also coordinated events for such notables as Niecy Nash, Wendy Raquel Robinson, George Wallace, Jennifer Lewis, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Omarosa Stallworth, Jerry Peters, Meagan Good, Tasha Smith and others. Miller is in constant demand as a speaker and is currently putting the finishing touches on an upcoming publication sharing his secrets of international event planning.
